The MSL Athletic Club KC U-18 had to overcome a good performance from MSL Boston pitcher Bud Justice to claim a 3-2 win at MSL Boston Ballpark. Justice went 6.1 innings and allowed no runs. MSL Athletic Club KC reliever Nacho Rivera was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Andrés Rocha took the loss. MSL Athletic Club KC now sits at 6-6, while MSL Boston falls to 7-5.
MSL Athletic Club KC needed the clutch hitting of Emílio Gonzáles to notch the win. The third baseman hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the U-18 on top, 3-2. For the game, Gonzáles had 1 home run and 2 singles in 4 at-bats.
