Pandas Beat MSL Panama City, 6-5

The MSL Montana Pandas beat the MSL Panama City Piranhas by a score of 6-5. MSL Montana center fielder Mutsuhito Nakashima deserved the lion's share of the credit. Nakashima was 3 for 5 with 3 doubles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Pandas. Jay Rana came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record now stands at 1-1. Pedro Rodríguez closed the game out for MSL Montana, earning his 4th save.
Raúl Gallegos chipped in for MSL Montana, stroking a crucial run-scoring double in the top of the seventh inning. For the game, the pinch hitter went 1 for 1 with a double.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Gallegos.
