Behind a fine performance from Mutsuhito Nakashima, the MSL Montana Pandas knocked off the MSL Buffalo White Walkers, 4-1. Nakashima was 2-3 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Pandas. Norm Coleman earned the win to go to 2-0. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits, with 1 walk and 3 strikeouts in 5.1 innings of work. Pedro Rodríguez picked up the save, his 2nd.

MSL Montana took a 4-1 lead on Nakashima's 1st home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Ángel Chávez in the bottom of the sixth, propelled MSL Montana to the win.

"Can't say enough about our pitching," said Nakashima.

With the loss, MSL Buffalo drops to 7-2.
