White Walkers Upend Pandas, 3-1
|
The MSL Montana Pandas went down to defeat to José Carmona and his MSL Buffalo teammates. The final score was 3-1 in favor of the White Walkers. Carmona, now 3-0, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 6, walking 1, and allowing 1 run. The White Walkers raised their record to 6-1.
The White Walkers got a big at-bat from designated hitter Karl Richards. For the game, Richards was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave MSL Buffalo a 2-1 lead.
"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Carmona.
