MSL Panama City had no answer for MSL Buffalo White Walkers starter Dong-hua Wang, who flummoxed Piranhas hitters as the White Walkers cruised to victory, 7-1. Wang got the win, improving to 1-1. He allowed 3 hits and walked 2 over 5.2 innings. Wang allowed 1 run. Ángel Chávez earned the save for MSL Buffalo, his 1st.

The White Walkers got an important contribution from designated hitter Karl Richards, who in the bottom of the first hit a forkball into left-center for a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the White Walkers ahead, 3-0.

"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said MSL Buffalo manager Kevin Montgomery.

With the loss, MSL Panama City drops to 3-2.
