Pimentel Shines in 9-2 MSL Buffalo Win
|
MSL Buffalo center fielder Kidlat Pimentel played a vital role in his team's 9-2 triumph over MSL Panama City. He went 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 5 for MSL Buffalo. The winning pitcher was José Carmona. He's now 2-0. He went 8 innings, allowing no runs on 3 hits for the White Walkers. MSL Buffalo, now 3-1, is setting the league on fire so far.
Ángel Román went 2 for 4 with 2 singles for MSL Buffalo. The 17-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the bottom of the third. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Sacha Fortunov. It was his 1st RBI of the season.
"We did a lot of things right," said Pimentel.
