White Walkers Win Thriller, 1-0
Fans of the MSL Buffalo White Walkers who packed the stands for the home opener were rewarded with a MSL Buffalo win over the visiting MSL New Orleans Voodoo, 1-0. Cisco Rodríguez started for the home team against Logan Mashiter. Logan Mashiter earned accolades for his performance.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when MSL Buffalo right fielder Tadamasa Higashi, facing Barnes van Leeuwen, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the White Walkers the 1-0 win.

"It was just a matter of executing," said MSL Buffalo manager Kevin Montgomery.
