Tijuana wasted a solid 7-inning effort from starting pitcher António Nájera, losing to Greenport, 2-0, at Toros Ballpark. Greenport reliever Gerben Groothuijzen got the win, raising his record to 3-1. Mo Hollow was tagged with the loss. At 44-40, the Harbor Whales are currently 7th in the Menard's Low A.

Greenport used a clutch hit from Tomás Aquino to get the win. The pinch hitter drilled a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Harbor Whales ahead, 1-0. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"This is a great group to be a part of, and it's a big win for us," Aquino told the Greenport Herald.
