Long Island Loses Again, 7-4
|
The Flint Crush trumped the Long Island Ducks, 7-4, at Ducks Park. Flint catcher Francisco Garza was terrific. He was 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Julián García was credited with the save for Flint, his 6th of the season. The current losing streak for Long Island has reached 8 games.
With Flint leading 1-0 in the top of the second, Garza hit a fastball from Cole Oliver for a 3-run home run. It was his 16th home run of the season and put the Crush ahead, 4-0.
"It feels good to get this one," Garza told the Flint Today.
