Baby Lakers Go Down to Defeat, 3-1
|
In a well-pitched game between the Tulsa Otters and the Bompton Baby Lakers, pitcher Sinfronio Tiongson was fantastic. The Tulsa right-hander helped his team secure the win, 3-1. Ed Davenport earned the save, his 15th. The Otters, at 38-34, sit in 6th place in the Menard's Low A.
Tulsa used the timely hitting of Fraser Hanson to capture the win. The designated hitter socked a 2-run home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Otters ahead, 2-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.
"I just trusted my stuff," said Tiongson.
