It was pandemonium at Ballpark of Hughesville after an exciting walk-off win.
Capital Hill got a big-time effort from designated hitter Armando Pérez, but it wasn't enough to keep the Tulsa Otters from winning the game, 2-1. Pérez threw 8.0 innings of 2-hit ball for the losing team. Tulsa is now 36-32, while Capital Hill is 38-30.
James Rowland was the walk-off hero for Tulsa. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Otters third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Rowland told the Tulsa News.
