The Moose Jaw Canucks had to overcome a good performance from Surprise pitcher Aaron Ellicott to claim a 3-2 win at Shockers Field. Ellicott went 6.1 innings and allowed 2 runs. The win puts the Canucks at 27-36, while the Shockers drop to 38-25.
Frank Gould made it 3-2 in favor of Moose Jaw when he delivered a run-scoring single. It came with two out in the top of the tenth. The Canucks went on to win.
In postgame comments, Gould said he was glad to contribute to an exciting win.
