|
Nick Lyons never let the Baby Lakers get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his slider, to pitch the Express to a win, 4-0. Lyons, now 1-0, was the winner. In 5 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 8, walking 0, and allowing no runs. With the victory, the Express record now stands at 35-24.
The two teams provided some entertaining baseball for the Field of the Browns crowd. Regardless of the outcome, a good time was had by all.
