Napanee Beats Surprise, 4-2

The Napanee Express stopped the Surprise Shockers, 4-2, at Paints Ballpark. The Express got a big game from Pramana Ananas, who went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Scott White went 5.2 innings for Napanee to pick up the win. The right-hander was charged with 2 runs. He scattered 6 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 4. His record improves to 5-2. At 34-22, the Express find themselves in third place in the Menard's Low A.
In the first inning, Ananas had a 3-run home run for Napanee. It was his 17th home run of the season and put the Express on top, 3-0.
"I felt we were ready to go," said Napanee manager Kyu-cheol Kye. "Our pregame was pretty good."
