Otters Down Baby Lakers, 7-4
|
The Otters grabbed a win, 7-4, at Field of the Browns, overcoming a fine effort from Bompton pitcher Giustino Cotichini. Cotichini went 7.2 innings and allowed 3 runs. With the victory, the Otters record now stands at 27-22.
Tulsa relied on the bat of Fraser Hanson to get the win. The left fielder ripped a 2-run double in the top of the 12th inning to put the Otters ahead, 5-3. For the game, Hanson had 1 double and 1 home run in 6 at-bats.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Hanson told the Tulsa News.
