Dominant Performance by Dalton in Ellesmere Island Win
Ellesmere Island starter Brian Dalton put a stranglehold on the Tijuana offense. The right-hander had complete command of his sinker in leading the Snowpeople to a 5-1 win. The Snowpeople saw their record improve to 18-30.

Dalton, the winner, is now 4-6. In 7.1 innings of work, he gave up 1 run on 4 hits, while collecting 10 Ks. He essentially shut down the Tijuana offense.

"I got in a good groove," said Dalton. "I was getting some swings and misses."
