Ellesmere Island Snowpeople starter Jonathan Stewart kept the Tijuana Toros hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 7-2 win. Roberto Gonzáles got the save, the 13th for him this season. The Snowpeople now have a record of 17-30.

The game was on the line with two out in the top of the eighth inning, but Roberto Gonzáles didn't flinch. With the bases loaded and Tijuana trailing 2-0, Gonzáles retired Xadreque Conde to end the threat. "Nothing to it," said Gonzáles, with a wink.
