Extra-Inning Walk-Off Win for Toros

The Toros grabbed a win, 3-2, at Toros Ballpark, overcoming a fine effort from Bompton pitcher Giustino Cotichini. Cotichini went 7.1 innings and allowed 1 run. Tijuana reliever Mo Hollow was the winner. His record is now 4-1. Dan Harris took the loss. The Toros improved to a lofty 28-12.
The game came to an abrupt end with two out in the bottom of the tenth. On a pitch from Dan Harris, Roberto Valentín hit a run-scoring single. It gave Tijuana the 3-2 win.
"The game of baseball will test you," said Ricardo Ruíz, the Tijuana skipper. "This one tested us."
