Snowpeople Sneak By Rams, 2-1

Ellesmere Island got a strong outing from Jonathan Stewart as the Snowpeople defeated the Ladue Rams, 2-1, at Ballpark of Wellsville. The win has Ellesmere Island at 12-22.
Ellesmere Island used the timely hitting of Broderick Petersen to seize the win. The third baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Snowpeople on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"I was a little disappointed," said Ladue manager Lance Davis. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
