The Plattsburgh Puffer Fish faced a tough opponent in North Ft. Myers pitcher Juan Rodríguez, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Plattsburgh Park by a final score of 4-3. Rodríguez went 6.1 innings and allowed 3 runs. Plattsburgh reliever Sean Long was the winner. His record is now 8-4. The losing pitcher was Luis Pizarro. The Puffer Fish have now won 4 straight.

Plattsburgh won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With two outs and Luis Pizarro on the mound for North Ft. Myers, first baseman Ernest Rodgers hit a dramatic solo home run, bringing Puffer Fish fans to their feet.
