Beavers Clip Gators in Tight Contest, 3-1
|
In a tight game between the Northwest Territory Beavers and the North Ft. Myers Gators, pitcher Moanna Eutakio was terrific on the mound. The Northwest Territory left-hander helped his team to the 3-1 win. Fernando Bustamante earned the save, his 25th, for the Beavers. Northwest Territory is now 54-37, North Ft. Myers 62-29.
Len Ríos hit a 3-run home run off Patrick Wood in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Beavers ahead, 3-1. In addition to the homer, Ríos had 1 double, while going 2 for 4.
