Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Crush
The Flint Crush faced a tough opponent in Capital Hill pitcher Lou Thompson, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Alouettes Ballpark by a final score of 4-2. Thompson went 6.2 innings and allowed 2 runs. The victory puts Flint at 8-12.

Flint used the timely hitting of Joe Stubbs to capture the win. The third baseman socked a 2-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Crush ahead, 4-2. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a big one.

In postgame comments, Stubbs told the Flint Today: "Do people still doubt I give 100 percent?"
