The Redwood Rhinos picked up a win at The Zoo, knocking off the Ballard Beavers, 7-1. Starting pitcher Dean Mangin was a big reason why. The 'W' lifts Redwood's record to 43-40.

Esteban Ortega, who is tied for 5th in the SA- in stolen bases with 15, came through for Redwood with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the first. The center fielder went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 3 RBI.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Ortega told the Redwood News. "It's as simple as that."
