Gators Deal Rhinos 4-2 Defeat

Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the North Ft. Myers Gators got the win.
The North Ft. Myers Gators got a stellar effort from pitcher Alex Wilson, helping North Ft. Myers score a win over the visiting Redwood Rhinos, 4-2. Wilson picked up the win for North Ft. Myers, going 6.2 innings. He gave up 1 run on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 5-1.
Joshua Hill, not known for his power, had a big at-bat with one out in the bottom of the sixth. That's when he connected on a changeup from Angus Galloway for a 3-run home run. His 11th home run of the season put North Ft. Myers in front, 4-1.
"Been a rough stretch for us," said Redwood manager Dave Parrish.
The Rhinos have now dropped 5 straight.
