Thorington Excels, But Baby Lakers Win

The Bompton Baby Lakers overcame a good performance by Long Island first baseman Elton Thorington to knock off Long Island, 6-5, at Ducks Park. Thorington hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Bompton reliever Emílio Guzmán got the win, raising his record to 1-0. Wikoli Niley was tagged with the loss. Michael Bowles earned the save, his 1st.
