Puffer Fish Deal Gators 7-5 Loss
The Plattsburgh Puffer Fish defeated the North Ft. Myers Gators, 7-5, at Dodge Field today. Leading the charge for Plattsburgh was first baseman Ernest Rodgers. He went 2-5 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Freddy Rosas picked up the win with 7.2 innings of work. He allowed 5 runs on 8 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 9. On the season, he is now 7-3. The first-place Puffer Fish have a one-game lead in their division.

In the top of the first, Rodgers pounced on a 1-0 curveball from Patrick Wood and hit a 3-run home run. It put Plattsburgh on top, 3-0.
