The Plattsburgh Puffer Fish faced a tough opponent in North Ft. Myers pitcher Alex Wilson, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Dodge Field by a final score of 7-4. Wilson went 6 innings and allowed no runs. José Barrera picked up the save for Plattsburgh, his 2nd of the year. The Puffer Fish, at 50-23, lead by one game in their division.

The outcome might have been different for Plattsburgh, had it not been for Ernest Rodgers, the 21-year old first baseman . Rodgers stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the 15th inning to put Plattsburgh up, 5-4. For the game, he was 4 for 7, including 1 double and 3 singles.

In postgame remarks, Rodgers simply said: "Here's to a great win!"
