The Napanee Express took Long Island pitcher Vic Littleton's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Paints Ballpark. The final score had Napanee getting past the Ducks, 1-0. Littleton went 6.1 innings and allowed 1 run, striking out 6. Sam van Elswijk was credited with the save for Napanee, his 2nd of the season. The win gives Napanee a record of 5-5.
Pramana Ananas, the Napanee catcher, contributed a run-scoring single in the bottom of the fourth inning to make the score 1-0, Express. For the game, Ananas went 1-3.
"We squandered some opportunities," said Long Island manager Mike Simpson.
