The Northwest Territory Beavers scored a tight 1-0 win versus the Memphis Music at Beaver Town. Northwest Territory pitcher Anthony Payne held his own in the contest. With the win, Northwest Territory pushed its record to 38-26.
Greg McLeod was the walk-off hero for Northwest Territory. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Beavers pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"Great to get the crowd on its feet," McLeod said.
