Despite a great performance by Ogallala left fielder Chris Prince, the Redwood Rhinos defeated the Octopi by the score of 5-3 at Nebraska Aquarium. Prince went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. J.R. Carnathan got the save, the 2nd for him this season. The Rhinos saw their record improve to 31-31.

Redwood used the timely hitting of Kenny Chamberlain to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Rhinos on top, 5-3. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"It all depends on which version of our team shows up," said Chamberlain. "When we put it all together, I think we're a great team."
