The Tulsa Otters picked up a win at Ballpark of Hughesville, courtesy of Luis Rojas. The left-hander helped his team stop the Greenport Harbor Whales, 3-2. In 7 innings, Rojas surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 7 and walking 4. He allowed 1 run. With the win, Tulsa improves its record to 7-1.
The Otters got a big at-bat from catcher Arturo Castro, who in the bottom of the fourth hit a run-scoring double. It was his 1st double of the season and put the Otters on top, 2-1.
"Good pitching, clutch hitting," said Tulsa skipper Ben Cooper. "I can't complain."
