Redwood Gets 8-6 Win
The Redwood Rhinos withstood an impressive performance by Northwest Territory third baseman Larry Anderson to defeat the Beavers, 8-6, at Beaver Town. Anderson hit 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. Shafeeq bin Fakhry earned the save, his 13th, for the Rhinos. Redwood has now won 4 straight.

Redwood used a well-timed hit by Esteban Ortega to capture the win. The second baseman socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Rhinos ahead, 7-3. Though it was his only hit in 3 at-bats, it was important.

"I like the roll we're on," said Redwood manager Dave Parrish.
