The Germantown Uruguayans had to overcome a fine performance from Northwest Territory pitcher Moanna Eutakio to grab a 2-1 win at Ballpark of Albuquerque. Eutakio allowed 2 runs over 8 innings. Han-soo Yang picked up the win, improving his season record to 1-6. He struck out 5 in 5.1 innings. The save was credited to Kantaro Suzuki, his 1st.
The Uruguayans got an important contribution from first baseman Warren Norwood, who in the bottom of the third hit a curveball into left-center for a run-scoring double. It was his 3rd double of the season and put the Uruguayans ahead, 2-0.
