Plattsburgh had no answer for Ogallala Octopi hurler Dylan Snider, who overwhelmed Puffer Fish hitters as the Octopi coasted to victory, 8-1. Snider, now 1-3, was the winner. In 6.2 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 7, walking 3, and allowing 1 run. Ogallala now owns a record of 12-20.
Raúl Morales broke a 1-1 tie in the bottom of the fourth with a run-scoring walk. It put the Octopi in front, 2-1. For the game, Morales drew 2 walk in 3 trips to the plate.
