7-4 Loss Extends Amarillo Skid
|
With second baseman Duane Foster leading the charge, the Bethlehem Angel Kitties defeated the Amarillo Warheads, 7-4, at Ballpark of Henderson. Foster, who is tied for 7th in the SA- in triples with 1, was 2-4 with a home run, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Luis Sánchez earned the save, his 10th. Amarillo is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 6 in a row.
Alfredo Durán tagged a home run off Karol Pejemsky in the top of the first. His 2-run blast put the Angel Kitties on top, 2-0. In all, Durán had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 5.
"We'll put that win in the can," said Durán, "and go after the next one."
