Beavers Stay Hot, Beat Angel Kitties, 6-2
|
The Northwest Territory Beavers picked up a win at Kittie Park, knocking off the Bethlehem Angel Kitties, 6-2. Starting pitcher John Farmer played a key role in the triumph. The Angel Kitties, now 9-16, have lost 4 in a row.
Ben MacFadden hit a 2-run home run off Ronnie Peters in the top of the fifth, which put the Beavers ahead, 3-2. In addition to the homer, MacFadden had 1 single and 1 double, while going 3 for 5.
"It feels good to get this one," Farmer told the Northwest Territory Chronicle.
