Loss to Octopi Extends Germantown Losing Streak
|
Alejandro Martínes pitched a gem to lead Ogallala to victory over the Germantown Uruguayans, 6-1. Martínes picked up the win for Ogallala, going 6.1 innings. He gave up 1 run on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 4-0. To call the performance of the 2053 Uruguayans disappointing is an understatement.
Raúl Morales tagged a home run off Kaluka Ezekiela in the bottom of the fourth. His 3-run blast put the Octopi on top, 4-1. In all, Morales had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.
"Been a rough stretch for us," said Germantown manager Jorge Carranza.
