The Amarillo Warheads picked up a win at Ballpark of Henderson, knocking off the Ogallala Octopi, 9-2. On the mound for Amarillo was right-hander Akihito Miura, who played a pivotal role in the win. Miura got the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed 1 hit and walked 1 over 6 innings. Miura allowed 1 run. Juan Jose Sánchez earned the save for Amarillo, his 1st.
