Memphis Hot Streak Continues with 2-1 Win
The Memphis Music and Ogallala Octopi put on a pitchers' duel.

Ogallala wasted a solid 6.2-inning effort from starting pitcher Darien Chalmers, losing to Memphis, 2-1, at Nebraska Aquarium. Memphis reliever Jesús Díaz picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Darien Chalmers absorbed the loss.

Memphis used the timely hitting of Seiki Araki to seize the win. The first baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Music on top, 1-0. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We're stringing together some nice wins," said Memphis manager Jorge Baca.

Memphis has a record of 7-1.
