Crossbeaus Need Extra Innings to Top Centennial, 6-4
|
The Beaumont Crossbeaus topped the Fort Knox Centennial, 6-4, in USPL Low A action at Ballpark of Baxter. The game was highlighted by the performance of Beaumont pitcher Tan-ming Lou. Beaumont is now riding a 3-game win streak.
Beaumont used the timely hitting of Brad Murdoch to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Crossbeaus on top, 5-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Lou told the Beaumont Today.
