Baby Blues Win Thriller, 3-2

The Crowley Cajuns got a sterling performance from pitcher Ted Bottone, but the Quebec City Baby Blues still prevailed, 3-2. Bottone threw 8.1 innings of 1-hit ball. Sixto Salas, now 1-1, was credited with the win. He allowed no runs on no hits, while striking out 0 and walking 0. The win puts Quebec City at 54-37 this season.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Quebec City shortstop Ching-wei Zhang, facing Brant Owens, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Baby Blues the 3-2 win.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Zhang.
