Lee Leads Quebec City to 3-1 Win
|
Quebec City got an elite performance from starting pitcher Jim Lee in taking a 3-1 decision over the Beaumont Crossbeaus. Sixto Salas picked up the save for Quebec City, his 1st of the year. The Baby Blues improve their record to 52-34 with the win over Beaumont.
Lee ran roughshod over the Beaumont lineup. The right-hander allowed just 4 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 8. With the victory, he goes to 4-1 on the season.
"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Quebec City manager Troy Grant said.
