Bullets Lose to Lighthouse, 5-3
Long Island picked up a win at The Lighthouse, toppling the Baltimore Bullets, 5-3. Pitcher Roger Raper was one of the reasons the Lighthouse triumphed. The save was credited to Imbart Theunen, his 6th. The victory makes Long Island 10-21.

The Bullets had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Lighthouse going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 22-year old third baseman Michael Jones came to the plate. Jones hit a 2-run home run on a 0-2 sinker from Baltimore hurler Perry Cox. It was Jones's 2nd home run of the year.

"Enjoyed this one," Jones told the Long Island Observer. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
