The Redwood Rhinos got a magnificent performance from pitcher Yoshitaka Shinohara, who stifled the Plattsburgh offense en route to a 3-0 Rhinos win at Plattsburgh Park. Redwood is now 2-1.

Redwood used the bat of Lou de Klerk to capture the win. The first baseman jacked a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Rhinos ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a dandy.

"We didn't score," said losing manager Wallace James. "That was the problem."
