Cajuns Shut Out Hounds, 4-0
|
Crowley starter Robbie Stanley put a stranglehold on the Hicksville offense. The right-hander had complete command of his fastball in leading the Cajuns to a 4-0 win. Francisco Álvarez got credit for the save for Crowley. It was his 14th of the year. The losing streak for Hicksville has now reached 4 games.
The Cajuns got a big hit from left fielder Arvind Patel. In the bottom of the fifth, Patel pounded a run-scoring triple to left. His 1st triple of the season put the Cajuns ahead, 2-0.
"Can't say enough about our pitching," said Patel.
