The home crowd had a good time watching the Hicksville Hounds and Maine Sea Dogs get after it.

No one was more impactful than Hokusai Suzuki in the 4-1 Maine win over Hicksville. Suzuki went 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times. Junior Smith, the winner, improved to 5-1. He held the Hounds to 1 run on 2 hits over 5.2 innings, while striking out 5 and walking 2.

The Sea Dogs got a big at-bat from shortstop Dong-hua Sima. For the game, Sima was 1 for 4 with a double. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 9th double of the season gave Maine a 2-1 lead.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Sima said.

The triumph puts Maine at 35-23 for the season.
