Baby Blues Beat Centennial, 7-2

The Quebec City Baby Blues stopped the Fort Knox Centennial, 7-2, behind an impressive performance from Dave Reid. The 21-year old catcher made life miserable for Fort Knox pitching. He was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Luis Sánchez converted his 2nd save in 2 tries. The loss makes Fort Knox 35-22.
Reid had a key at-bat for Quebec City early in the game. With a runner on 1st, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 16th home run of the season and gave Quebec City an early 2-0 lead.
