Cattlemen Suffer 6-3 Setback
Long Island picked up a win at The Cattle Pen, toppling the Ft. Worth Cattlemen, 6-3. Pitcher Rich Baker was one of the reasons the Lighthouse triumphed. Ft. Worth now has a 5-game losing streak.

Long Island used the timely hitting of David Saunders to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Lighthouse on top, 5-3. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"I just tried to attack the bottom of the zone," Baker said.
