More Bad Juju as Crossbeaus Drop 9th Straight
|
The Watford City Trash Pandas weathered an outstanding game by Beaumont left fielder Nathan Dooley to topple the Crossbeaus, 6-3. Dooley was 2-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Jorge Félix came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. His record now stands at 1-1. Beaumont is in the throes of a 9-game skid.
Watford City took a 6-3 lead on Carl Beggs's 3rd home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which Beggs hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Beaumont pitcher Tan-ming Lou visibly frustrated.
"Everyone's kind of edgy right now," said losing manager Stephen Richards, "but nothing a couple of wins wouldn't cure."
