Kuk Leads Quebec City to 1-0 Win
|
Pitching was the name of the game in a tight contest between the Quebec City Baby Blues and the Hicksville Hounds. Quebec City won it, 1-0. Quebec City starter Il-sang Kuk was in command. Mark Wood finished the game for Quebec City and earned his 6th save. Quebec City raised its record to 20-14 with the win.
Kuk, who dominated for Quebec City, earned the victory to move to 3-2. He was in control the whole game, scattering 1 hit over 7.1 innings, while striking out 5. Hicksville batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
